Ty Bili is a typical stone Breton Longere dating from 1836. The house had been abandoned with the construction of the grander 'Masters House' Ty Traez next door in 1911. For years it was used as a cattle shed and all that was left standing were the walls and the roof. Full of character, and architectural detail, we decided to renovate this house during the winter 2008 / 2009. After a not so good start with the wrong type of builders, we got back on track with some trusted artisans, and are really pleased with the result. Great care has been taken to preserve all the original features such as the stone bread oven and the huge fireplace, and yet add modern touches for a quirky contemporary interior. Downstairs the thick stone walls are covered in a natural lime plaster, and the large glass doors with views over the pretty garden let plenty of light into the large open plan living, kitchen / dining room.
As with all of our houses, we have made Ty Bili comfortable and luxurious, whilst keeping as much of the original charm as possible.
The house has top quality fixtures and fittings throughout and individual pieces of art and antiques, and is spaciously designed for five people.
Ty Bili gives onto it's own large, private garden and there are storage sheds for the two bicycles, as well as swings and a dedicated parking space.
